ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – Pitcher Max Scherzer is likely out for the rest of the season with a right shoulder injury.
The three-time Cy Young Award winner, who was traded to the Rangers in July, has a strain in a shoulder muscle.
Rangers general manager Chris Young gave an update on the situation Wednesday.
Scherzer left in the sixth inning during a win against the Toronto Blue Jays.
