(WBAP/KLIF) WILMER, Texas — The Wilmer Police Department discontinued an AMBER Alert for a 10-year-old boy who went missing earlier this month after his mother had been found dead.
According to the update, the boy, 10-year-old Ian Aguilar was found. The boy’s father, 38-year-old Juan Aguilar-Cano, is still wanted for allegedly killing the boy’s mother, 48-year-old Zuleika Arzate-Lopez.
Zuri Lopez, the sister of Aguilar, confirmed that he had been retrieved from Mexico and his back with his family in the U.S.
The family of Aguilar sent a photo to WFAA on Saturday afternoon, showing him reunited with his sister.
