Roland Gutierrez is going on tour!
The U.S. Senate candidate and Uvalde State Senator will visit over a dozen cities and towns across Texas over the course of twenty-five days to talk about important topics like healthcare.
“We need to restore women’s reproductive rights,” Gutierrez said. “We need to give them the ability to make their decisions with their doctors. We’re broken in so many ways in this country and in this state. And we need to have people- thoughtful leaders that are going to go fix those problems.”
He adds that things like creating jobs and stopping gun violence are also high on his list of priorities.
“We have to get control of this madness,” Gutierrez said. “Look, I’m a gun owner and I get it, but I’ve seen all of those kids that died in Uvalde and I saw all of that carnage. We’ve got to be able to have common sense gun safety solutions like raising an age limit to twenty-one, extreme risk protective orders and universal background checks. Those are just common sense solutions that seventy percent of Republicans agree with.”
