UTA Campus Resumes Normal Operations

ARLINGTON, TX – (WBAP/KLIF) – UT Arlington has resumed normal operations, after receiving multiple bomb threats on Monday evening.

At 6:14 P.M. Monday night campus police ordered evacuations of several student housing facilities including Meadow Run, Arlington Hall, West Hall, and Arbor Oaks. Displaced students were then immediately instructed to relocate to the Maverick Activates Center, until it was safe to return to their apartments or dorms.

Around 8:30 P.M., campus police issued an all-clear, and allowed students to return to the housing facilities after investigators concluded that the bomb threat was not credible. The university is making counseling and mental health services available for students who may need support.
