DALLAS, TX – (WBAP/KLIF) – A new pediatric health campus is set to open in the Southwestern Medical District in Dallas.
Children’s Health and UT Southwestern have plans to build the $5 billion project on more than 30 acres. That complex will replace the existing children’s center which is currently located at Harry Hines and Mockingbird Lane.
The new pediatric hospital will have nearly 40% more beds, and will span more than five million square feet. The project is expected to take around seven years to complete.
