Texas Republican Representative Morgan Luttrell and Arizona’s Tom Cotton have introduced a measure they say would help secure the border with Mexico. It would call on American Armed Forces to capture or kill leaders of the Jalisco Cartel.
The Jalisco New Generation Cartel is one of the most feared and formidable Mexican cartels to the United States; in this measure, blamed for the great amount of trafficking deadly fentanyl, methamphetimine and cocaine smuggled into the United States, as well as significant human trafficking to America.
Luttrell and Cotton’s measure would force the Pengaton to establish a related cartel leader “capture or kill” strategy. The United States is offering a reward of up to ten million dollars for information leading to the capture or arrest of the reported current leader of the Jalisco Cartel, widely known as “El Mencho”.
