Survivor of North Korea Child Labor Camp to Speak at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum

A survivor of a North Korea child labor camp is coming to Dallas to speak about his experiences.

Joseph Kim, who is the author of the memoir Under the Same Sky, was just five-years-old when famine came to North Korea in the ’90s.

And after losing his family at 12-years-old, he was placed in a detention center and labor camp for children.

He is set to talk about those experiences on February 20th at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum located at 300 N. Houston, Dallas, TX 75202.
