Yelp recently released its top 100 restaurants for 2024, and one North Texas spot made the list.
Eight restaurants in total from Texas were named on the list, with one of them being in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Mr Max Izakaya, a Japanese restaurant in Irving, claimed the number 72 spot on Yelp’s nationwide list.
The number one spot this year went to a vegetarian Mexican restaurant in Tucson, Arizona called Tumerico.
Here are the eight Texas restaurants on Yelp’s top 100 restaurants in the US:

- No. 38 Tacos Doña Lena (Houston, Texas)
- No. 61 Avesta Persian Grill (Houston, Texas)

- No. 72 Mr Max (Irving, Texas)
- No. 77 Mr. A-Ok’s Kitchen (San Antonio, Texas)
- No. 99 Southern Yankee Crafthouse (Houston, Texas)
