High Water, Tornadoes Reported in Friday Severe Weather Event

(WBAP/KLIF) – Several tornado-warned storms ripped through areas of Hill, Navarro, Kaufman and Ellis counties Friday afternoon and there are reports of some damage.

Dangerous Flash Flooding was also reported in several counties including Kaufman where there were high-water rescues reported and even some reports of possible water into homes.

Emergency Management officials in Navarro County reported damage along County Road 30-91.

Several people shot footage and witnessed a tornado on the ground in Hill county and there were also reports of a possible tornado near Rice in Navarro County south of the DFW Metroplex.
