Severe storms with wind gusts reported as high as 86 mph rolled through the DFW area this morning. The Storms are now on the east side of the metro area and caused a few 18-wheelers to be turned over. High winds of 45-50 mph will follow the storms this afternoon. A Tornado watch remains in effect for the entire DFW Metro area until 11am.
The storms have caused flight delays and 300,000 power outages throughout the metro area. Please use caution if you are on the roads.
