An Individual Infected With the Measles Visited Four Public Venues in Mckinney

(WBAP/KLIF) – MCKINNEY, TX – Collin County Health Care Services has been notified of an individual in the county that has tested positive for measles. From May 19th to May 22nd, the infected individual visited 24 Hour Fitness, Movie House and Eatery, Cubana Grill, and Market Street which are all located in McKinney. Collin County health officials are urging anyone who recently visited the venues to monitor themselves for measles symptoms until June 12th, and that the most effective way to prevent measles is through vaccination with the MMR vaccine.
