GRAPEVINE – (WBAP/KLIF) – The woman suspect believed to have fatally hit and killing an 18 year old kayaker on Grapevine Lake Sunday is now under arrest.
Texas Game Wardens and Grapevine police say they’ve taken Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez into custody, after investigators say she and another woman aboard a personal watercraft hit Ava Renee Moore as she kayaked on Grapevine Lake. Moore died of her injuries.
Witnesses told police the woman operating that personal watercraft left with a man who hit a vehicle while leaving the area. Witnesses recorded video and took photos of the woman and man, shared with the public in hopes of identifying and locating the suspect driver.
