BELLE PLAINE, Min.. (AP) — The search for the man wanted in the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers has led to the discovery of one of the suspect’s vehicles in a rural area outside Minneapolis. Residents and elected leaders are on edge as they try to make sense of the brazen political violence. A massive search has stretched into its second day for a man who authorities say posed as a police officer. Melissa Hortman, a former Minnesota House Speaker, and her husband were fatally shot early Saturday in their Brooklyn Park home. The second state lawmaker, Sen. John Hoffman, and his wife were shot multiple times in nearby Champlin.
