(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – Oscar Sanchez Garcia pled guilty to killing three different women over a three month period back in 2023. He was sentenced to 45 years in prison for each of the counts, which will run concurrently. Garcia was in the country illegally and was arrested for abusing his girlfriend in 2023. However, ICE was never notified and he made bail in a few weeks. He then killed three women in similar fashions, leaving them all in remote areas of southern Dallas.
Listening through an interpreter, Garcia kept his head down and listened to the family members of his victims speak about what he took from them. He never once looked up at the family members who were on the witness stand giving victim impact statements. The families of Kimberly Robinson, Charish Gibson, and De’brenese Henry told Garcia how much they loved the women he took from them, sharing their memories while also expressing their disdain for their killer. Several of the family members even asked Garcia to look at them while they were up there talking. Those families stayed in the courtroom until the very last second when Garcia was escorted out.
