JC Penney Is Closing A Major North Texas Distribution Facility

(WBAP/KLIF) – PLANO, TX – JC Penney is closing one of its local distribution centers, which will put nearly 300 people out of work. The company is planning to have two rounds of layoffs at its Alliance Logistics Center in Haslet, which is scheduled to permanently close on November first. JC Penney is based in Plano and released a statement saying that the layoffs and closing of the facility is necessary to build a stronger more competitive company.
