Postponed Again; China Tariffs: 90 More Days for Talks

WASHINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – The United States and China agree to pause – for another 90 days – massive tariff hikes that were to go into effect just hours ahead of a deadline to instead agree on trade tariffs.

Higher tariffs on Chinese goods would have likely raised the cost many Americans and businesses in the U.S. would be forced to pay, or already are paying, because of increased import taxes announced by President Trump.

After a meeting in Stockholm last month, Chinese negotiators announced a deal had been reached.
