(WBAP/KLIF) — WFAA News 8 – A DART bus crashed near a light rail station in northeast Dallas on Monday morning, officials said.
Footage from the scene at the White Rock DART Rail Station showed the bus had crashed in the parking lot off Northwest Highway. The bus appeared to have crashed into a tree and gone up an incline. There was also apparent damage to a railing area by the parking lot.
Dallas Fire-Rescue crews responded and extricated one person from the bus, officials said. Four people in total were taken to the hospital.
DART officials said they were working on a transportation alternative for people impacted by the delays.
