Changes Are Coming to What Texans Can Eat and Buy at the Grocery Store

(WBAP/KLIF) – AUSTIN, TX – Governor Greg Abbott has signed three new health bills into law, which are all part of Secretary of Health and Human Services RFK Junior’s plan to make America healthy again. One bill impacts food stamps banning Texans from using SNAP benefits to buy sweetened drinks or candy. Another targets school meals, restricting foods with additives linked to obesity and other health issues, while a third bill requires clear labels on products containing ingredients already banned in other countries.
