
(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – The Bank of Nova Scotia, commonly known as Scotiabank is opening their regional headquarters in Dallas. The terms include a $60 million dollar capital investment in Dallas by Scotiabank which will occupy up to 100,000 square feet of office space in Victory Park in Downtown Dallas. The Canadian bank will add over a thousand jobs in the city with average wages over $135,000 dollars. The Scotiabank announcement comes after the Dallas City Council voted to approve a $2.7 million dollar economic development grant to the bank, which will be spread out from 2028 through 2031 and include a ten-year property tax break.
