Fort Worth ISD is Looking for a New CFO

(WBAP/KLIF) – FORT WORTH, TX – Fort Worth ISD’s chief financial officer Carmen Arrieta Candelaria has resigned to take a job in her hometown of El Paso. The district has already posted the position, and stated that it will hire a search firm to find a new CFO.

Fort Worth ISD is facing a possible state takeover after a campus received five consecutive unacceptable ratings. The head of the Texas Education Agency visited Fort Worth ISD last month, however it has not made a decision on whether the state will take control of the district or not.
