NEW YORK (AP) — Federal authorities have arrested a Harvard Business School graduate on charges that he swindled fellow alumni of the prestigious school out of more than $4 million. U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton in Manhattan announced fraud charges Thursday against Vladimir Artamonov after he was arrested in Elkridge, Maryland. He said Artamonov promised low-risk investments with high returns. The head of New York’s FBI office said Artamonov exploited the prestige of Harvard to procure investments before blowing the money on bad investments and personal expenses. Messages seeking comment were sent to Artamonov’s lawyer and Harvard.
