ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBAP/KLIF) – Jadeveon Clowney is arrested in South Carolina for trespassing just days ahead of signing a deal with the Dallas Cowboys. The NFL veteran is now reported as arrested September 12th in his hometown of Rock Hill, S.C.
WSOC reports 32-year old Clowney was trying to park in a lot not open to parking, and did so after reportedly being told not to do so. The alleged incident came three days before Clowney signing was announced by Dallas. The 2014 number one pick and three-time Pro Bowler signed a one-year deal with the Cowboys to give them pass rushing depth, after the trade of Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. Clowney spent last season with the Carolina Panthers, registering 46 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks.
Clowney’s first five seasons began with the Houston Texans, followed by stints with Seattle, Tennessee, Cleveland and Baltimore.
