HEB is One Step Closer to Opening a New Store in Dallas

(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – The City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved a zoning change for a site near Hillcrest Road and LBJ Freeway to be the future site of the new HEB location in North Dallas. During recent neighborhood meetings, local residents have raised concerns that the new store could cause an increase in traffic caused by combination of commuters, a Costco, and people attending Watermark Church nearby. However, officials with HEB stated that they plan on adding turn lanes, and other upgrades to help ease the congestion. The Dallas City Council will still have to approve the plans for the store.
