NEW YORK – (WBAP/KLIF) – The Disney Company says late night television host Jimmy Kimmel will return to the airwaves this Tusday. Last week, ABC said it was indefinitely suspending Kimmel, days after Kimmel made comments linking the alleged killer of conservative speaker Charlie Kirk to President Donald Trump’s MAGA movement.
FTC Chairman Brendan Carr had suggested ABC’s broadcast license was at risk in light of those comments. Trump’s scrutiny of media companies has intensified in his second term, marked by defamation lawsuits, defunding of public broadcasters, and regulatory interference from the FCC
