Man Arrested at Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson Airport; Police Say He Threatened to “Shoot It Up” Live and Online.

ATLANTA – (WBAP/KLIF) – Police arrested a man at Atlanta’s bustling airport on Monday after getting a tip from his family that he was planning to shoot up the place, and found an assault rifle and ammunition in his truck outside, the city’s police chief said.

Police say they arrested 49 year old Billie Cagle and charged him with terroristic threats, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Cartersville Police say a family member of Cagle alerted them, after seeing him livestream on social media saying he was heading ot the airport to “shoot it up”.

Police say they found Cagle’s truck during a sweep of the airport’s outer perimeter and claim they found an AR-15 loaded with 27 rounds. Investigation is underway and officials report the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport is now safe.
