Addison is Weighing Its Future With DART

(WBAP/KLIF) – ADDISON, TX – Next week, the Addison city council will consider holding a special election to for residents to decide on DART membership. Addison has been a member city since 1983, and has a stop on the brand new Silver Line. Four other cities in North Texas have already decided to let voters weigh in on the future of DART. Leaders in Plano, Highland Park, Farmers Branch, and Irving have all stated that they’re not getting their money’s worth from the mass transit system.
