Jaydon Blue believes he is entering his second Dallas Cowboys season more prepared, more confident and ready for a larger role.
In the latest Camp California episode, The Dallas Express Sports Network hosts Bonnie-Jill Laflin and Mark Elfenbein catch up with Blue at training camp in Oxnard, California.
Blue explains that his biggest offseason focus involved perfecting routes out of the backfield so Dallas can use more of his speed and receiving ability. The 2025 fifth-round pick also says the game feels different after a rookie season that challenged him to become more consistent.
As previously reported by The Dallas Express, Dallas selected Blue in the fifth round after he displayed game-breaking speed and receiving ability at Texas.
Javonte Williams leads the running back room, but Dallas has identified Blue as a potential RB2 and change-of-pace option. Blue also describes the group’s desired identity as physical and relentless, credits the team’s off-field brotherhood and makes his case as one of the best bowlers on the roster.
