Dallas police commanders and a public information officer responded Thursday to an officer-involved shooting in the 5900 block of Williamstown Road.
Dallas police initially responded to a report of a burglary in progress shortly before 9:30 a.m., according to police records cited by CBS Texas.
Officers had reportedly been using Flock cameras to track a suspect or suspects connected to multiple robberies before the investigation led them to Williamstown Road, CBS Texas reported. Neighbors told the outlet they heard a single gunshot, and video from the scene showed a black sedan on the front lawn of a home.
Dallas police reported no injuries in its preliminary update.
The department has not yet released additional information about what led to the shooting or identified anyone involved.
