Centric Compounding LLC is voluntarily recalling six lots of compounded Glutathione, Myer’s Cocktail, and Tri-Immune Boost injectable products after the company said the medications were compounded with a glutathione active pharmaceutical ingredient containing elevated endotoxin levels.
Endotoxins are toxins from the outer membrane of certain bacteria. When injected, elevated levels can trigger serious reactions. The company said there is a reasonable probability that injectable products with elevated endotoxin levels could cause significant medical events, including fever, low blood pressure, inflammatory reactions, anaphylactic shock, and death.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration posted the company announcement on September 13, 2026. The company dated its notice September 9.
Six Lots Included In Recall
The recalled products are packaged in 30-milliliter multidose vials and were distributed nationwide through home delivery and deliveries to prescribers.
Affected products include:
- Glutathione 200 mg/mL: Lot 062326:B, beyond-use date August 7, 2026
- Glutathione 200 mg/mL: Lot 070826:A, beyond-use date August 22, 2026
- Glutathione 200 mg/mL: Lot 072726:D, beyond-use date September 25, 2026
- Myer’s Cocktail: Lot 070226:D, beyond-use date August 16, 2026
- Myer’s Cocktail: Lot 072126:A, beyond-use date September 4, 2026
- Tri-Immune Boost: Lot 071626:B, beyond-use date August 30, 2026
The products are marketed for uses including supporting immunity, fatigue, and general wellness.
Company Reports Nine Adverse Events
Houston-based Centric Compounding said it has received nine reports involving symptoms such as fever, chills, chest pain, nausea or vomiting, headache, and malaise.
The recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the FDA.
Consumers Told To Stop Using Recalled Vials
Consumers who have affected products should stop using them and discard the recalled vials, the company said. Centric Compounding said it is notifying distributors and customers by email and arranging replacement products.
Anyone who has experienced a health problem that may be associated with the recalled products should contact a physician or other health care provider.
