
Forest Hill police are searching for Taylor Danny Ray Jr. after investigators identified him as the suspect named in a murder warrant connected to the Sunday shooting death of 34-year-old Jamerion Williams.
Officers responded to the 4200 block of Bowling Green Street at about 5:47 p.m. on August 30 and found two injured people, according to the Forest Hill Police Department.
Williams died at the scene. Emergency personnel took the second victim to a local hospital, but police did not disclose that person’s condition in their public alert. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Williams, WFAA reported.
Police have not released information about what led to the shooting.
Investigators said Ray may be traveling in a white 2014 Cadillac CTS bearing Texas license plate KCM1104. Police warned the public not to approach Ray or attempt to detain him. Anyone who sees Ray or the vehicle should call 911 immediately.
The Forest Hill Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is leading the case with assistance from the Texas Rangers, the Tarrant County Crime Scene Division and the Fort Worth Police Department.
