Texas authorities are asking the public to help locate Anthony Dewayne Oliver, a 64-year-old Dallas man wanted on family violence charges and named this month’s Featured Fugitive on the Texas 10 Most Wanted list.
The reward for information leading to Oliver’s arrest has been increased to $4,000 during September. The enhanced reward applies to qualifying tips submitted during the month.
Oliver has been wanted in Dallas County since January 2026, when a warrant was issued accusing him of two counts of assault of a family or household member.
The Texas Department of Public Safety describes Oliver as a violent repeat offender with a lengthy criminal record. His previous convictions include robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and forgery of a financial instrument.
Oliver was released from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2019 after serving prison time for prior offenses.
Oliver is approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has tattoos on his chest, left wrist, right forearm, and upper right arm.
DPS is working with local law enforcement agencies to locate Oliver and other fugitives selected for the Texas 10 Most Wanted program.
Texas Crime Stoppers, funded through the Governor’s Public Safety Office, provides cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of individuals on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Sex Offenders or Criminal Illegal Immigrants lists.
So far in 2026, DPS and other law enforcement agencies have arrested 53 people from those lists, including 37 sex offenders and nine gang members. Those arrests resulted in $74,000 in rewards being paid for qualifying tips.
To be eligible for the reward, information about Oliver must be submitted through an official tip channel:
- Call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Submit a tip through the Texas DPS Texas 10 Most Wanted website by selecting Oliver and using the tip link beneath his photo.
- Submit a tip through the Texas 10 Most Wanted Facebook page by selecting the “SUBMIT A TIP” option.
All tips are anonymous. Tipsters receive a tip number rather than having their names used.
