A Lewisville woman faces a human trafficking charge following an investigation into two local massage parlors, the Denton County Sheriff’s Office said.
Shujun Sun was arrested and charged with trafficking of persons after investigators executed an arrest warrant and three search warrants on September 10.
The Denton County Sheriff’s Office Human Trafficking Unit had been examining operations at Zen Health Therapy Spa and Massage 7 in Lewisville since June 2026. The Lewisville Police Department assisted with the inquiry.
Investigators found that Sun, a Lewisville resident, was tied to both parlors. During a search of her residence, authorities seized $8,000 in cash along with business records connected to the case.
Three female Chinese nationals were detained by ICE during the operation and offered victim services through Denton County Friends of the Family.
The Texas Department of Public Safety and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement also assisted in the investigation.
Sun has been booked into the Denton County Jail.
The names of the women identified as potential victims have not been released.
