Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas County jury has found 45 year old Donaldo Velasquez guilty of murder. He pretended to be a “LYFT” driver on the last day of July, 2016 when he picked up Arnold Pinilla and his girlfriend at a restaurant in Carrollton. They became suspicious when he demanded money because LYFT drivers are paid electronically through the company. Velasquez and Pinilla argued. Velasquez pulled a knife, stabbed Pinilla to death then fled. He was arrested at his home a few days later. The sentencing phase of his trial begins Tuesday morning.
