Dallas PD Hosting Workshop on How to Deal With Hate Crimes, Active Shooters

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — The Dallas Police Department is hosting a faith-based training session Thursday on how to respond to a variety of crimes.

The goal, according to DPD, is to inform people how to respond to hate crimes and how to react in an active shooter situation. There will also be CPR training courtesy of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.

The event takes place Thursday from 10:00-2:00 at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ. It is free to attend, but does require an RSVP.
