Protestors Hold Peaceful Rally in Lee Park

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Texas Freedom Force members and others stood at Lee Park Saturday in protest of the removal of the Robert E. Lee statue. Protestors spoke of how Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings and liberals have changed Texas history for the worse.

“They change your history until you have no history and when they change your history, you have no identity,” according to one speaker who stood in front of the crowd.

Dallas Police said the gathering of close to 50 people was mostly peaceful, reporting one minor skirmish with counter-protestors and one arrest for disorderly conduct.
