DALLAS(WBAP/KLIF)-AAA of Texas hopes teens are better prepared to take the wheel after holding a teen driving fair Saturday afternoon in Irving. Daniel Armbruster with AAA says one of the major things they want to stress is that many teens already have a driving role model, for better or worse.
“Teens often model their driving habits after their parents and grow up watching them for years, and a lot of times, if a parent is texting and drivng then a teen will do that too when a kid gets the keys,” according to Armbruster.
He added that the goal is to talk with your driver early about safe driving habits before they actually get the keys.
