(DALLAS)WBAP/KLIF- A former TCU football player has filed a lawsuit against the school and head coach Gary Patterson.
Former wide receiver Kolby Listenbee, who played on the team from 2012 to 2015, is seeking damages of over one million dollars for past and future lost earnings related to employment in NFL.
Listenbee alleges that TCU Football Head Coach Gary Patterson and then Offensive Coordintator Doug Meachem pressured and forced him to return to play early after being injured during a game against SMU in the 2015 season. He also alleges that Steroids and pain medication treatment detrimentally affected his future NFL career.
TCU released a statement saying “it does not comment on pending litigation.”
