Protesters rally at Dallas City Hall in light of Botham Jean Shooting

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Protesters gathered at Dallas City Hall Wednesday, demanding justice after Dallas Officer Amber Guyger was charged with manslaughter for the shooting death of Botham Jean.
Guyger said she mistakenly entered the wrong apartment and opened fire. Next Generation Action Network hosted the rally which included groups of Dallas Activists. The group of protesters spoke to City Council and asked to have a Citizens Council Review for Police Officers.
The protesters began chanting, demanding justice, which halted the meeting momentarily, but soon resumed for public comments.
“In this hall we want to make a statement that black lives, brown lives, poor lives, all lives matter in the city of Dallas,” Mckinney Councilman La’shadion Shemwell said.
Some Citizens spoke to the council saying they deserve dignity not death.
