DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Police Department is explaining why a man accused of ramming his truck into a downtown television station was released.
Police say at the time Michael Chadwick Fry was released, Fox 4 had not yet provided a damage estimate required to proceed with the case.
Dallas police though say the case remains active and once a damage estimate is handed over to police they can issue an arrest warrant through the District Attorney’s office.
Fry is accused of driving his truck into the Fox 4 building smashing windows and tossing papers across the building’s property. No one was hurt.
