The Fort Worth Police are conducting training exercises today (Sunday) around the Fort Worth Convention Center. As part of that training they will be firing blanks, and they want everyone to know if they hear gunfire around the Convention Center it’s not an emergency. It’s the police working out how they will deal with an emergency if one should arise. There are two planned sessions. The first begins at 10:00 AM, and runs until noon. The second starts at 3:00 PM, and lasts until 5:00 PM.
