KELLER (WBAP/KLIF News) — Keller firefighters responded to a house fire Wednesday morning that neighbors believe started with a lightning strike.

Our media partners at WFAA-TV reported that the neighbors saw and heard the loudest lightning strike in their life. Immediately after, firefighters showed up on Crestwood Trail.

“We experienced really loud thunder and a big clap of lightning,” neighbor Carly Abraham told WFAA. “We knew it hit something.”

Those inside the home made it out safely, but a law enforcement scanner indicated that some firefighters became trapped inside at one point. They did, however, make it out safely.

No injuries have been reported.
