Is Pete Sessions The ‘Unnamed Congressman’ in Newly Unsealed Indictment?

Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A Texas Tribune report names former congressman Pete Sessions as ‘congressman 1’ in an indictment of two Rudy Giuliani associates.

Federal prosecutors on Thursday named Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman as two Florida businessmen who promised GOP political donations in an alleged conspiracy to force the removal of the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine

They also allegedly lobbied for her ouster in a Capitol Hill meeting with an ‘unnamed congressman’ who was promised 20-thousand dollars in campaign donations, according to the indictment.

Sessions on Thursday denied any wrongdoing.
