Texas Baptist Men Donating Thousands of Masks, Suits to First Responders and Hospitals

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Texas Baptist Men, a disaster relief ministry based in Dallas is donating 10,000 masks and 2,000 biohazard suits to hospitals and first responders.

John Hall with TBM said these items are in short supply and it will get worse as the number of COVID-19 cases continue to grow. “First responders and local hospitals, these people are on the front lines of the Coronavirus pandemic- these are our heroes and we want to support them in any way we can,” said Hall.

Hall said eventually they will be providing meals, like they do during natural disasters.

“On behalf of the state of Texas, I would like to thank Texas Baptist Men for stepping up and providing thousands of critical resources for hospitals and first responders that are in need of protection as they tirelessly serve our state during the COVID-19 response. TBM continues to set the standard as a non-profit organization that’s answers the call,” said TBM Chief Nim Kidd.
