BAYTOWN (AP) – The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for seven people, including three children, after receiving a distress call from a boater last night in Cedar Bayou near Baytown, about 25 miles east of Houston.
The Coast Guard said the boater told dispatch the boat was taking on water.
All radio communication were lost following the initial call.
Early Tuesday morning, crews were searching by helicopter and boat for any sign of possible victims or the vessel.
