ROCKWALL (WBAP/KLIF News) – Rockwall Place 6 City Council member Patrick Allen Trowbridge has been arrested on three charges for Possession of Child Pornography, a 3rd-degree felony.
The Rockwall Police Department said the 52-year-old’s arrest on Thursday stemmed from a tip the Center for Missing and Exploited Children received on April 13th, regarding several videos of possible child pornography being sent from an IP address in the City of Rockwall.
Detectives investigating the the tip and found probable cause to believe that the child pornography videos had allegedly been sent via the on-line communications app called “KIK” from Trowbridge’s IP address in the 600 block of Parks Avenue.
Police executed a search warrant at that location and during a search, detectives discovered images of child pornography on a smart phone allegedly belonging to Trowbridge, resulting to his arrest.
Each of the three counts Trowbridge is charged with carries a $20,000 bond.
Trowbridge was elected to city council in 2018.
Rockwall Police said they do not believe that any of the images were victims in Rockwall.
The investigation is ongoing.
