Washington (WBAP/KLIF) Several Trump allies, led by Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama plan to challenge the election results when congress convenes to officially tally electoral college votes.

Brooks told the New York Times, quote, “We have a superior role under the constitution than the Supreme Court does, than any federal court judge does, than any state court judge does. What we say, goes. That’s the final verdict.”

Dallas-based constitutional Lawyer David Coale says in the clip below that the process is permitted under the constitution, but adds that chances are slim.

Coale added that people object to the voter every year, but the objections are largely ignored because they do not change the outcome.

State electors affirmed Biden’s win Monday.
