DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Many health and elected leaders are teaming up to ask people not to mix households this Christmas and the holiday season.
Among those include Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins who spoke at a news briefing Friday.
He said people can still provide for loved ones who live alone.
“The safest thing is to share love with them, drop a dish off at the porch, be on zoom, send notes of encouragement and love and not get together,” Jenkins said.
Jenkins also recommending that people continue to shop locally but do so safely.
“If you will go online or call your local stores, for that matter you can call anybody, the big box stores too, they have a curbside option,” Jenkins said.
He says for those who decide against doctors recommendations to at least stay separated in the house to limit any possible COVID-19 exposure as much as possible.
