
Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A funeral service was held Sunday for a North Texas man who died trying to save his girlfriend during the chaos that unfolded at a sold out Travis Scott concert at AstoWorld in Houston on Friday.
The grieving family of 27-year old Danish Baig of Euless hailed him as a hero after he pulled his girlfriend from the ground to safety, but ended up being caught in the crush of people and was trampled to death.
Basil Baig said the family is grieving for all of the families that lost their loved ones in his horrendous event. He says that he wants the organizers of the horrific event held accountable.

Meantime, A spokeswoman for Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s office said their identifies were expected to be made public Monday. They ranged from 14 to 27 years old.
