DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Two North Texas men accused of kidnapping a 14-year-old girl off the streets of southwest Dallas have been charged with producing sexually explicit images of the teen.
Police arrested 43-year-old Lukumond Olatunji and 41-year-old Vincent Thompson on Wednesday.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office Northern District of Texas, Olatunji and Thompson pulled up beside the girl as she walked home from school on October 23.
The victim told investigators the men told her she believed they were going to give her a ride to her grandmother’s house.
Instead, investigators said the men drove her to an alley and raped her and recorded parts of the crime. They then went to a motel, rented and room and allegedly raped her again.
The teen managed to escape and found a woman who drove her to a nearby gas station to call for help.
When police arrived, the victim described the defendants to law enforcement.
Her description helped police find and arrest Olatunji and Thompson.
Prosecutors said both men admitted to having sexual intercourse with the girl and Thompson confessed to also recording the assault on his phone.
Olatunki and Thompson made their initial federal court appearances in front of U.S. Magistrate Judge Irma C. Ramirez on Wednesday.
