NORTH RICHLAND HILLS – (WBAP/KLIF)_ A 15 year old girl kidnapped from a Dallas Mavericks game April the 8th at the American Airlines Center has been rescued from an alleged human sex trafficking ring operating out of Oklahoma City. Police say 8 people were arrested.
Dallas officials say the North Richland Hills teen was at the Mavericks game with her father when she vanished after a restroom break. It’s believed a child sex trafficking ring found images of the girl online, offered as a prostitute; charges against the 8 arrested include child trafficking and allegations of distributing child pornography.
Family attorney Zeke Fortenberry is raising questions about laws that presume a missing child is a runaway; the girl was held for 11 days before before rescued and returned to her family.
